Public Outing in Brimmington Park

We ran our first public stall on Friday to get some direct feedback and also to show Blake off for the first time. Not the greatest stall in the world but we were asked the day before

Aside from the usual oohs & aahs we had some "what is it? Oh, it's a lamp" or, as one ten year old boy explained to his friend, "it's for when you're afraid of the dark".

One gentleman introduced himself to us as an artist and told us that our work "looked a bit like Jeff Koons" though we think he meant Jeff Koons work and not the man himself.

The event was the Brimmington Park festival run by the friends of Brimmington Park.

If you're anything like me you've probably never heard of Brimmington Park before. It's a small green off of the Old Kent Road new New Cross. The Green has a friendly and rather wonderful community surrounding it.
